Asia's total coal-fired power generation to hit a whopping 6,749TWh in 2025

Asia will by far register the biggest expansion in coal-fired power generation in the next 10 years, with total output from the technology growing from 5,601TWh in 2016 to 6,749TWh in 2025 - equal to more than double the total coal power generation found in all other regions combined.
